Vaccine lucky draw sees 110 vaxxers strike gold

The Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange has on Friday announced the result of a vaccine lucky draw, with 110 winners each taking away a gold medal worth around HK$10,000.

In celebration of its 110th anniversary and to boost the vaccination rate in the city, the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange rolled out the vaccine lucky draw, giving away a total of 110 gold medals worth over HK$1.1 million.

According to the Exchange, the gold medal contains 20 Grams of 999.9 fineness Gold.

The winners of the lucky draw have been announced on a designated website today, and will be published in The Standard and Hong Kong Economic Journal.

Notification will also be given to the individual Winners via telephone and SMS to the mobile phone number given at registration within 10 days of the day of the Lucky Draw.

Each Winner is required to redeem the Prize in person on or before October 29 according to the instructions provided to him/her by the Organiser.

At the time of the redemption of the Prize, the winner is required to prove his/her eligibility to the organizer, including presenting an original Hong Kong Identity Card and the original hardcopy or electronic record of the Covid-19 vaccinations issued by the Department of Health of the Hong Kong Government, as well as providing written consent for the organizer to verify the vaccination record with Government.
