Under Secretary for Financial Services tests positive for Covid

The Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Joseph Chan Ho-lim, has tested positive for Covid-19 through a nucleic acid test.

Chan wore masks and followed relevant disease prevention measures at work, according to the spokesman for the Bureau.

He has no recent travel history and last went to work yesterday (Oct 12).

The spokesman added that the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Christopher Hui Ching-yu, has been taking Covid rapid antigen tests every day, and the results have all been negative.

The FSTB will conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection at the relevant offices.
