Twenty-four students in Penny's Bay for second day of DSE exams

A total of 24 students stayed in the special exam rooms at the Penny's Bay isolation center on Saturday for the second day of the Diploma of Secondary Education (DSE) exams.

About 46,700 students took the English Paper 3 of listening and integrated skills this morning.

Among the 24 students in Penny's Bay, 13 went there due to the quarantine order, and 11 were there because they were infected with Covid-19.

Twenty-one of them took the exam but not the three infected candidates who felt unwell.

The Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority said the Public Examinations Information Centre handled an application from a student just this morning who requested an isolated exam room in Penny's Bay.

Today's exam is staged at 467 hall exam centers, 214 classrooms, and 630 special exams centers for students with special educational needs.
