If you are infected with the new coronavirus and are taking to the streets, now you should think twice. Not only will you be fined, but you must also enter a hospital hotel and you will not be able to cash your voucher.
This was warned by the Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, this Friday, July 3, after saying that people infected with Covid-19 have been surprised in the lines of supermarkets and using the subway and the metro bus.
We made the decision that any person who is Covid-19 positive or is in quarantine and break the rules, will not be given their voucher and will be taken to hospital hotels on a mandatory basis, Sucre said.
He also said that in these cases their Panama Metro and Metro Bus cards will be suspended. The violators will even be sanctioned with a fine, but Sucre did not specify the amount.
