The world records over 9 million cases of the new coronavirus

More than 9 million cases of new coronaviruses have been declared worldwide, of which more than half are from Europe and the United States, according to a count carried out by specialized centers that keep track of the virus's progress.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, at least 9, 000,091 cases of contagion have been documented, including 468,823 deaths, especially in Europe, the continent most punished with 2,537,451 cases and 192,973 deaths, as well as in the United States (2,281,903 cases and 119,997 dead).

The number of reported cases in the world has doubled since May 16 and in the last seven days there have been more than one million new cases of Covid-19.
