Tai Po's Providence Bay slapped compulsory testing notice as Indonesian domestic helper tests positive

Three more locations have been slapped with compulsory testing notices as a 30-year-old Indonesian domestic helper was confirmed with Covid-19 after quarantine on Thursday.

She arrived in Hong Kong on September 17 from Indonesia on flight CX798 and was tested negative upon arrival. The results of the six tests conducted during the compulsory quarantine period at Silka Tsuen Wan were all negative.

Upon completion of compulsory quarantine on October 7, she returned to the residence of her employer at The Graces, Providence Bay in Tai Po.

She developed symptoms on October 8 and was tested positive with a low viral load on October 12. Her test results after admission to the hospital were indeterminate.

As a prudent measure, the places where she resided and visited in Hong Kong during the incubation period have been included in compulsory testing notices.

The notices apply to:

1. Those who had been to Tower 10, Phase 3 - The Graces, Providence Bay, Tai Po, for more than two hours from September 17 to October 13;

2. Those who had been to Dr. Liu Kai Ling Clinic, 3/F, On Wo House, Tai Wo Estate, Tai Po, from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm on October 8.

3. Those who had been to Market Place By Jasons, LG/F, Mayfair Lane, Tai Po, from 9 am to noon on October 11.

The domestic helper is the only imported case on Thursday.
