This came as police are still searching for missing marine police senior inspector Lam Yuen-yee, who fell into the sea near Sha Chau yesterday morning after her police boat flipped over when chasing a speedboat.
Lam's accident has raised concerns over rampant smuggling amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
