Quarantine requires for a retirement home's residents and staffers amid 25 new Covid-19 cases recorded

Chuang Shuk-kwan, head of the Centre for Health Protection's Communicable Disease Branch, announced Hong Kong recorded 25 new Covid-19 cases taking the tally up to 10512.

The patients are aged between three months old and 81-years-old.

One new import case is recorded which involves an aircraft crew member who arrived from Belgium. The rest are all local cases and four with unknown sources.

A resident at the Salvation Army Nam Shan Residence for Senior Citizens in Shek Kip Mei is confirmed positive with Covid-19. A staffer there is tested preliminary positive.

About 100 residents and 70 staffers from the retirement home will be sent for quarantine.

The airport's Three-runway System construction site cluster recorded five more cases, including a staffer at the site and four close contacts that have been sent to the quarantine center.
