Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data tests positive for Covid

The office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data confirmed today that the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Ada Chung Lai-ling had tested positive for Covid through a rapid antigen test.

According to the office’s statement, the last time Chung was at work was last Friday, July 29, she had worn masks and abided by the anti-epidemic measurements during her duty hours. She has no recent travel history.

The office said it has conducted thorough cleaning and disinfection at the relevant offices and arranged for relevant staff members to undergo Covid tests in accordance with the advice from the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health and reminded citizens to pay more attention to self-prevention.
