According to the official data, the total number of infected with the virus in the country is now 39,334, while 18,036 patients have clinically recovered from the disease. There are currently 20,528 active cases.
Deaths
A total of 23 new deaths were recorded over 24 hours, which brings the total to 770. The death rate is currently 1.96% of the infected.
Testing
3,197 new tests were conducted in since the last report, of which 37% were positive. The number of total tests is now 148,115, of which 105,805 were negative.
Testing rate is reported to cover 3,461 per 100,000 population.
Treatment
18,844 patients are in home isolation and 676 are in so-called hospital hotels.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 846 are in the hospital ward and 162 in the intensive care units.

Reopening of economic activities in Los Santos
Regarding the reopening of economic activities in the province of Los Santos, the
Minsa indicated that it will be carried out in a staggered and asymmetric manner, as determined by the Government in conjunction with local authorities.
For the final decision, the local index of effective transmission of the virus, the behavior of the population, the installed capacity and other variables will be taken into account.
This weekend, two meetings were held with local authorities and business groups in Los Santos to address this issue.
