No new Covid-19 case in Hong Kong, first time in two weeks

Hong Kong reports no new confirmed Covid-19 case on Sunday, the first time in more than two weeks.

The last time the city saw no new cases was September 16.

Australian health authorities updated that a confirmed case reported to Hong Kong earlier was confirmed to be negative after a review of the sample.

The case was reported on October 1 and involved a 55-year-old male cargo plane crew member living in Block 3 of The Wave Villa, 2 Kin Tung Road, Tung Chung.

In other news, the Centre for Health Protection reminded that people who live or work in the below locations should undergo compulsory testing tomorrow:
- Jones Hive, 8 Jones Street, Causeway Bay
- Block C, Hankow Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui

The compulsory testing notices were issued in relation to a 37-year-old man who arrived from Italy and a 39-year-old man who arrived from India last Sunday.
