No fine for driving with expired license plates until July

The Transit and Land Transportation Authority (ATTT) extended until July 31 the provisional suspension of the application of the infraction for driving with expired plates.

According to ATTT, the measure applies to all vehicles with a license plate which expiration date is in March, April, May and June 2020.

The decision is in line with the mitigation measures of COVID-19, and considering the difficulties that the renewal of vehicle circulation license plates cause for drivers under these circumstances.
