No evidence shows three deaths after vaccination was related to the vaccine

The Department of Health said that no clinical evidence showed that the three deaths after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine last week were caused by the vaccine.

The DH received three death reports of men aged 53 to 63, who had received the Covid-19 vaccine within 14 days prior to their death.

The DH said that the cases have yet to be evaluated by the expert committee.

As of last Sunday, more than 6.18 million doses of the vaccine had been administered to the public in Hong Kong, 0.08% of which were reported abnormal.

The DH has received a total of 30 deaths within 14 days after vaccination, none of them shown to be related to the vaccine.
