Given the considerable increase in cases of COVID-19 in Panamá Oeste, two more booths for swabbing were installed in the Dr. Santiago Barraza polyclinic in La Chorrera.
According to Raúl Escalona, assistant general and supervisor of the maintenance team that installed the cabins, one was donated by the Club de Leones de Panamá Oeste.
It was installed in the tent area, next to the first cabin, the old injectable area was also restructured and refurbished, Escalona explained.
The polyclinic had two swab cabins and now there will be four for ease of staff and patient safety.
