New batch of 800,000 Sinovac jabs flew in

A fourth batch of about 800,000 doses of Sinovac's CoronaVac vaccine has been delivered to Hong Kong from Beijing on Monday.

Soon after its arrival, staff inspected the vaccines to ensure that they comply with the product specifications and that the transportation process followed the relevant cold-chain requirements.

Hong Kong's Covid-19 vaccination programme has been implemented for 220 days since February 26 this year. So far, about 8.7 million doses of vaccines have been administered, including 3.2 million Sinovac jabs.
