Miss Hong Kong pageant postponed as five contestants test Covid positive

The semi-final of the Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2022 has to be postponed after five contestants tested positive for Covid-19.

Organizers have arranged for the competitors to receive rapid antigen tests and suspend all rehearsals and promotional events to protect other contestants and staff of the competition.

The pageant's semi-final was originally due on the coming Sunday. It would be postponed so the contestants have enough time to recover before competing, Television Broadcasts Limited said in a statement.
