Kwun Tong and Tin Shui Wai lockdowns detected 35 new Covid infections

Health authorities on Monday concluded the overnight lockdown operations at three housing blocks in Kwun Tong and Tin Shui Wai, with 35 preliminary positive Covid infections detected.

A total of around 3,300 residents from Choi Lok House at Choi Fook Estate, as well as Shing Yuk House and Shing Chun House at Tin Shing Court were tested.

The test results of 26 residents of Choi Lok House at Choi Fook Estate came back positive, after around 1,613 residents there underwent Covid testings. The operation also found test results for 26 people uncertain.

Meanwhile, lockdowns at Shing Yuk House and Shing Chun House at Tin Shing Court picked up nine infections, as well as 14 uncertain cases.

Officials visited 1,439 households during the overnight operations, but 116 did not answer the door.

The government said it will take measures to follow up.
