Hong Kong’s next government should scrap travel quarantine: business group

Frederik Gollob, chairman of European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, says he hopes city will provide mainland China with example of how to reopen to world.

A European business chamber in Hong Kong has called on the government to scrap quarantine requirements for travellers and provide a clear plan to exit the Covid-19 pandemic or risk jeopardising the city’s recovery.

European Chamber of Commerce chairman Frederik Gollob on Monday also said he hoped Hong Kong could provide mainland China with an example of how to reopen to the world.
