Hong Kong on Wednesday announced it will scrap nearly all remaining coronavirus restrictions, including testing rules for arriving travelers and social distancing restrictions, following mainland China into a full reopening.
Vaccination passes also scrapped but face masks will remain mandatory.
The changes take effect Thursday. The city's government said it would also ax a mandatory vaccine pass required to enter various premises but keep indoor and outdoor mask-wearing rules.
