HK to extend social distancing measures for another two weeks

The government is about to extend its social distancing measures - which is set to expire tomorrow - for another two weeks, according to reports.

The measures include wearing face masks in all indoor and outdoor public spaces and the 4-person cap on public gatherings will remain.

The extension will see the Covid rules extended until March 31.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong is set to report around 20 Covid cases today.

Health officials yesterday confirmed 30 Covid cases, of which 16 were local cases with one infection untraceable.

Among the 16 local cases were 13 patients linked to the outbreak at Ursus Fitness in Sai Ying Pun, with so far 122 cases recorded for the gym cluster.
