HK sees no local Covid-19 infection

Hong Kong reported one imported Covid-19 case today, marking the second day with no local case with untraceable source.

The 52-year-old woman arrived in Hong Kong from Argentina. She didn’t develop any symptoms.

A total of 76 cases have been reported in the past two weeks, including 13 local cases of which one is from unknown sources.

The city’s tally now stands at 11,808. The government’s pandemic briefing will not be held today.

The centre encouraged the public to avoid going out and maintain stringent hand hygiene when they need to.
