HK records 19 new Covid-19 cases

Hong Kong has recorded 19 new Covid-19 infections today, bringing the tally to 11,499 cases.

Seven out of the 19 newly reported infections were locally transmitted, including one with an untraceable source that involved a 33-year-old unemployed man person who lived in Tseung Kwan O village.

He felt unwell on Monday and consulted the doctors the next day. He confirmed coronavirus later.

He often visits the restaurants in Metro City Plaza Phase Two for takeaways. It included Cafe de Coral on the UG floor, Kam Kee Cafe, and Nam Kee Spring Roll Noodle.

Citizens - who have been to that shopping mall for more than two hours after March 19 - have to undergo mandatory testing for Covid-19.
