HK expects fewer than 10 Covid cases with no untraceable infections

The Centre for Health Protection is set to confirm fewer than 10 Covid patients in the city today, with no untraceable infections.

The daily virus briefing for today will also be canceled.

Health officials yesterday confirmed only one local case with its source of infection unknown, along with seven other imported cases.

The untraceable local infection was a 22-year-old student from Baptist University, also a football coach at a primary school. He lives in Block 7 of Fullview Garden in Siu Sai Wan.

The patient was said to have coached a football class at Victoria Park. Three other coaches and 12 kids listed as close contact have been put under quarantine.
