HK expects fewer than 10 Covid cases, single-digit increase for fifth day in a row

The Centre for Health Protection is set to confirm fewer than 10 Covid patients in the city today.

According to sources, there are untraceable local infections among the cases to be confirmed.

Hong Kong yesterday confirmed seven Covid patients – one local and six imported – bringing the tally to 11,462 cases. Of which, the one local case was linked to previous local infections.

The only local case yesterday was a 44-year-old asymptomatic woman, she had been admitted to the quarantine center starting March 17.

While the six imported cases were returnees from the Philippines, Ukraine, Indonesia, Pakistan and Turkey.
