Health Chief Lo in home quarantine as close contact of Covid

Secretary for Health Lo Chung-mau is now undergoing home quarantine as his family member tested positive for Covid.

The health minister tested negative through a rapid antigen test on Thursday. His nucleic acid test result yesterday also came back negative.

His last public appearance was during a Tuesday press briefing announcing the lifting of Hong Kong’s Covid curbs. A government statement said Lo will work from home until the end of his home quarantine.

The statement also noted that Lo has worn masks and abided by the anti-epidemic measurements during work.
