Cuba, ICRC resume contacts postponed by Covid-19

Representatives of the Cuban Foreign Ministry (MINREX, in Spanish) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) have decided to resume annual official talks, postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to a meeting held at MINREX.

The Cuban delegation was headed by the Director-General of MINREX´s Multilateral Affairs and International Law, Rodolfo Benítez.

The ICRC Regional Delegation for Panama and the Caribbean was led by Director Marisela Silva Chau.

The Red Cross representatives recognized Cuba’s activism in international forums and the promotion of the International Law.
