Citizens at 14 Tung Chung and airport locations reminded to undergo compulsory tests

Citizens who have been to 14 locations in Tung Chung, including Hong Kong International Airport, Citygate and Hong Kong Market in Yat Tung are reminded to undergo compulsory testing by the coming Sunday.

Those who have tested negative between August 31 and today can be exempted from taking the test again.

Citizens are subject to testing if they had been to:

- The Wing, Cathay Pacific Lounge Level 7, Terminal 1, Hong Kong International Airport
- Long Win Buses route S65 from Tung Chung (Mun Tung Estate) to the Airport (Passenger Terminal Building) (Circular)
- Long Win Buses route number N64 from the Airport (Ground Transportation Centre) to Tung Chung (Yat Tung)
- Café de Coral, 2/F, Yat Tung Shopping Centre in Tung Chung
- GA GEE LOUNGE, 1/F, Yat Tung Shopping Centre in Tung Chung
- PUTIEN, Level 7, Terminal 1, Hong Kong International Airport
- can.teen, Level 7, Terminal 1, Hong Kong International Airport
- Pizza Hut G/F, Tung Chung Crescent in Tung Chung
- Windows Café, G/F, Yat Tung Shopping Centre in Tung Chung
- Gordon Ramsay Plane Food to Go, Level 7, Terminal 1, Hong Kong International Airport
- Citygate (shopping mall only) in Tung Chung
- Hang Seng Bank, MTR Tung Chung Station, Tung Chung
- Hong Kong Market (Yat Tung), G/F, Yat Tung Shopping Centre
- Chong Hing Bank, G/F, Yat Tung Shopping Centre in Tung Chung

The government explained that these places were named on the compulsory testing notice as previously a local patient carrying L452R mutant strain had been to these places. For prudence's sake, vaccinated citizens also have to undergo Covid-19 testing.
