Gergely Karacsony, the mayor of Budapest, has urged the public to get vaccinated against Covid.
In a post on Facebook, he said on Saturday that he had received a booster jab on Friday.
“We are seeing infection cases picking up again and we can most effectively protect ourselves against the virus if we are getting as many people as possible to get inoculated,” Karacsony said, advising people to register for vaccination.
