Bet another day: HK$105m Mark Six draw postponed

The Mark Six draw with an estimated HK$105 million First Division Prize Fund scheduled on this Saturday, January 8 will be postponed to January 20, Jockey Club announced.

The decision is made considering the increasingly challenging Covid-19 situation and the tightening of social distancing measures by the government, the club said.

Postponing the draw can prevent over crowding at off-course betting branches and allow more time for ticket purchase, it added.

All accepted bets remain valid. The Club will make further announcement for the draws after January 20 subject to the government's anti-epidemic measures.

All branches will implement additional measures from January 7.

Customers are required to scan the LeaveHomeSafe QR code or provide their names, telephone numbers, the date and time of the visit on a specified form before entering. Traffic control will be implemented to prevent over-crowding.

Live video broadcast of horse races and football matches will be suspended. Only audio broadcast of horse races will be available.

All media halls, priority card zones and the Jockey Club Theatre in Tuen Mun will be closed until further notice.

The Wins Cafe at North Point branch will stop operation at 6 pm.
