APAP announces new opening hours after detecting COVID-19 cases in its offices

The Panama Passport Authority (APAP) reported this afternoon that after the detection of two cases of COVID-19 in officials of the institution, they will proceed to execute a new opening hours from Monday to Wednesday from 8:00 AM until 12:00 noon. Starting this week and until further notice.

On Thursday and Friday there will be days of cleaning and disinfection of the facilities.

It is reiterated to the general population that passports are processed only at central headquarters, located in Vía España, and in emergencies to cargo carriers, sailors and pilots that require humanitarian flights and they must be supported by the proper documents. These appointments are only being scheduled through our social networks, indicates the statement from the Passport office.

The authority pointed out that soon it will be communicating through the official channels and the media, the attention to the general public, on a regular basis.
