Anthony Fauci Tests Positive for Covid-19

Vaccinated or not, the world’s top infectious disease expert has mild symptoms and is isolating.

Anthony Fauci, the US top infectious disease expert, has tested positive for Covid-19.

The 81-year-old director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has mild symptoms and is isolating, the National Institutes of Health said in a statement Wednesday. Dr. Fauci, who serves as President Biden’s chief medical adviser, will work from home, according to the NIH.

The statement did not specify how many vaccines Fauci received, if any, and if he did, why it failed and he still contracted the disease.
