Taxi drivers who were offered free coronavirus tests previously will be able to get tested when another round begins on Monday.
Public light bus drivers and employees of local ferry operators can also get tested, the Transport Department, said.
Taxi and light bus drivers arel required to register on the government website starting tomorrow.
Five designated testing centers will be available for the drivers to get tested. They are located at Rumsey Street in Sheung Wan, Wong Tai Sin, Kwai Fong, Yuen Long and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port Public Transport Interchange respectively.
Taxi drivers who have completed the testing will be given a Participation Tag for them to display inside taxi compartments.
The free testing will be offered from March 29 to April 11.
As for employees of local ferry operators, they will be notified by their employers to undergo testing at specified locations during specific time slots.
