Administration Deputy retests positive for Covid, under home quarantine

Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration Warner Cheuk Wing-hing claimed today to have retested positive for Covid and is now in home quarantine.

The quadra-vaccinated official tested positive by doing a rapid antigen test on August 26 following working on-site on August 25. He posted on his Facebook page today saying he tested positive again when he was planning to return to his office on Monday (September 5).

“I have to stay in home quarantine even though no symptoms appeared anymore currently,” he said, noting he had a fever and coughing days before.

Cheuk called on citizens, especially people aged above 60, to receive the vaccines as soon as possible, citing it would lead to a severe situation if he had not gotten his Covid vaccine jabs.
