656 new COVID-19 cases and 10 new deaths within 24 hours

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced on Wednesday, June 10, that there are 656 new cases of the virus in 24 hours. According to the official report, the coronavirus has left a total of 413 dead in the country.

According to the official data, the total number of infected with the virus in the country is now 17,889, while 10,977 patients have recovered from the disease.

A total of 10 new deaths were recorded over 24 hours. Four of the new death cases were women, aged between 64 and 95, and six men aged between 47 and 96.

Testing

2,054 new tests were conducted in since the last report. The number of total tests is now 82,774, of which 62,284 were negative.

Testing rate is reported to cover 1,935 per 100,000 population.

Treatment

5,315 patients are in home isolation, of which 712 are in so-called hospital hotels.

The Ministry of Health also reported that 381 are in the hospital ward and 91 in the intensive care units.
