The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced on Wednesday afternoon, June 3, that there are 514 new cases of the virus in 24 hours. According to the official report, the coronavirus has left a total of 357 dead in the country.
According to the official data, the total number of infected with the virus in the country is now 14,609, while 9,519 patients have recovered from the disease.
Testing
1,656 new tests were conducted in since the last report. The number of total tests is now 71,139, of which 54,105 were negative.
Testing rate is reported to cover 1,663 per 100,000 population.
Treatment
3741 patients are in home isolation, of which 590 are in so-called hospital hotels.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 327 are in the hospital ward and 75 in the intensive care units.
