The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced on Friday, June 5, that there are 419 new cases of the virus in 24 hours. According to the official report, the coronavirus has left a total of 370 dead in the country.
According to the official data, the total number of infected with the virus in the country is now 15,463, while 9,719 patients have recovered from the disease.
Six of the new death cases were men aged 51-82, and one 39-year-old woman.
Testing
1,534 new tests were conducted in since the last report. The number of total tests is now 74,231, of which 56,277 were negative.
Testing rate is reported to cover 1,663 per 100,000 population.
Treatment
4,357 patients are in home isolation, of which 607 are in so-called hospital hotels.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 333 are in the hospital ward and 77 in the intensive care units.
