The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced on Thursay afternoon, May 28, that there are 403 new cases of the virus in 24 hours. According to the official report, the coronavirus has left a total of 320 dead in the country.
According to the official data, the total number of infected with the virus in the country is now 12,131, while 7,379 patients have recovered from the disease.
Testing
1,307 new tests were conducted in since the last report. The number of total tests is now 63,202, of which 48,842 were negative.
Testing rate is reported to cover 1,477 per 100,000 population.
Treatment
3,523 patients are in home isolation. 549 are in so-called hospital hotels.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 360 people are hospitalized; 281 of those in the ward and 79 in the intensive care units.
