The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced on Monday afternoon, May 25, that the coronavirus has left a total of 310 dead in the country. According to the official report, there are 257 new cases of the virus in 24 hours.
According to the official data, the total number of infected with the virus in the country is now 11,183, while 6,279 patients have recovered from the disease.
Testing
1,099 new tests were conducted in since the last report. The number of total tests is now 59,339, of which 46,071 were negative.
Testing rate is reported to cover 1,387 per 100,000 population.
Treatment
3,664 patients are in home isolation, of which 582 are in so-called hospital hotels.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 348 people are hospitalized; 281 of those in the ward and 67 in the intensive care units.
