The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced on Wednesday afternoon, May 27, that there are 281 new cases of the virus in 24 hours. According to the official report, the coronavirus has left a total of 315 dead in the country.
According to the official data, the total number of infected with the virus in the country is now 11,728, while 7,379 patients have recovered from the disease.
Testing
1,297 new tests were conducted in since the last report. The number of total tests is now 61,895, of which 47,992 were negative.
Testing rate is reported to cover 1,447 per 100,000 population.
Treatment
3,130 patients are in home isolation, of which 552 are in so-called hospital hotels.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 352 people are hospitalized; 278 of those in the ward and 74 in the intensive care units.
