The Ministry of Health (Minsa) detailed on Tuesday afternoon, May 19, that the coronavirus has left a total of 281 dead in the country.
There are 141 new cases of the virus in 24 hours.
According to official data, the total number of infected with the virus in the country is now 9,867, while 6,194 patients have recovered from the disease.
3,055 patients are in home isolation, of which 682 are in so-called hospital hotels.
The Ministry of Health also reported that 337 people are hospitalized; 267 in the ward and 70 in the intensive care units.
