Some 10,143 new COVID cases were registered in Hungary yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1,134,869 according to data by koronavirus.gov.hu.
A total of 191 patients died yesterday, raising the coronavirus death toll in Hungary to 35,122.
The number of recovered patients rose to 910,745, while the number of active cases stands at 189,002.
Some 7,463 infected people are currently hospitalized, and 566 of them require ventilation.
The total number of vaccinated persons is 6,145,984, of whom 5,858,119 have already received their second vaccination. About 2.665 million people have already received their third vaccination.
