A worker died after he was hit by an elevated platform in Choi Wan Estate, Wong Tai Sin.
At around 3pm, he was transporting the platform down a slope opposite Cheung Bor House with another worker when the platform slipped and fell.
The man was hit on the head by the platform. He was sent to the United Christian Hospital and was certified dead there.
The platform was supposed to be used for maintenance works. It was supposed to be inspected weekly, but the last inspection date on record was September 1.
Link Reit staff went to the scene, and police cordoned off the area for investigations.
