Eight people were evacuated from the West Kowloon Law Courts Building in Cheung Sha Wan after security guards found a letter containing white powder there this afternoon.
Police received reports of the incident at around 4pm. The powder was deemed harmless by the force's Explosive Ordinance Disposal Bureau personnel and it was taken away for further examination. No one was injured in the incident.
The case has been listed as criminal intimidation and is being handled by the Sham Shui Po District's Regional Crime Unit.
