Wharf Hotels’ latest addition to the Niccolo Hotels - Niccolo Suzhou has officially opened at the top of the new super-skyscraper, Suzhou International Finance Square today.
The IFS, soaring 450-meters into the clouds, is hailed as The Beacon of the Future, with a striking fishtail profile symbolizing longevity and prosperity for the fabled city.
Niccolo Suzhou is the iconic landmark’s crowning glory and most eagerly-anticipated luxury hotel to open in China this year.
The hotel’s opening was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and auspicious Lion Dance, with the hotel becoming the fifth member of Wharf Hotels’ growing portfolio of Niccolo Hotels.
Taking inspiration from luxury fashion, Niccolo Hotels spearheads contemporary chic design and experiences.
The hotel joins Niccolo’s portfolio of stylish hotels in key gateway cities across China including Chengdu, Chongqing, Changsha and Hong Kong, where they have been hosting Captains of Industry and Leaders in Style since the luxury group’s inception in 2015.

The tower has a mix of serviced apartments, office space and the hotel, which has 233 rooms including 20 suites. While bars and restaurants include the Niccolo Kitchen, The Tea Lounge and Bar 115.
The hotel also features The Niccolo Room, the hotel’s state-of-the-art event space, along with The Conservatory, which offers flexible meeting space for large or small events, including memorable fashion shows, product launches and inspirational presentations.
