The National Civil Protection Service (Sinaproc) warned this Friday of rain and storms over the country within the next 72 hours, due to the passage of Tropical Wave No. 3. in Panama.
Rains are expected to be moderate to heavy in western part of Panama; Colón and neighboring provinces.
After the atmospheric instability, typical of the rainy season, the National Emergency Operations Center (COE), issued a notice of prevention of surveillance and monitoring, which runs until Monday, June 1.
Recommendations:
- Light boats must take extreme security measures in maritime areas.
- Areas vulnerable to floods and landslides must follow the preventive measures indicated by Sinaproc, such as not crossing rivers or streams, or flooded streets.
