Trump hands Boris £1trillion Brexit trade boost with record-breaking US-UK deal - REVEALED

US PRESIDENT Donald Trump has predicted a massive deal with the UK under Boris Johnson by telling reporters that trade could grow up to £1trillion after Britain leaves the EU.

Donald Trump and Boris Johnson are “already working on” a huge record-breaking UK-US trade deal. The US President told reporters on Friday evening that the ambitious deal will see trade between the two countries grow by five times the current level. President Trump also took a swipe at the EU, claiming that, for too long, Brussels had “impeded” free trade talks.

The US leader’s comments will be a welcome boost to Boris Johnson’s first week as Prime Minister.

The pair have already struck a close relationship, with President Trump boasting that Mr Johnson was the “British Trump”.

Speaking to reporters, the US leader said: “We're working already on a trade agreement.

“And I think it'll be a very substantial trade agreement, you know we can do with the UK, we can do three to four times."
