UK Students Warned of Fake GCSE, A-Level Papers Sold on Social Media for Hundreds of Dollars

Scammers are selling fake General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) and A-level papers on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram for hundreds of dollars to students in the UK.

These exams are the equivalent of school-leaving or university entrance examinations and are taken between May and June.

Students have reported paying up to $1,116 for a single exam paper.

The exam boards have warned that it is rare for genuine papers to be leaked, and anyone caught cheating could face disqualification.

Social media platforms have said they will remove accounts promoting frauds if flagged.
