Three HK schools named among top 100 private schools in the world

Harrow International School Hong Kong, Hong Kong International School and Kellett School have been named among the 100 best private schools in the world, as part of the Spear’s Schools Index, launched in partnership with global education consultancy Carfax Education.

Categorised by region, the schools were named in the Top 15 Schools in the China & Southeast Asia category, which included institutions in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.

Mark Steed, Principal & CEO, Kellett School, said: “This is fantastic recognition of the hard work and dedication that our whole community have put in over the recent years and highlights the outstanding all-round education that Kellett offers.”

As well as formal criteria, such as academic results and preparation for university entry, schools are selected for their unique ethos, local and international reputation, and how adequately they prepare pupils for life beyond academia.

Top schools listed for 2022 also include world-renowned British schools such as Wellington College and Eton College, as well as those further afield, such as St Paul’s School in Brazil and Geelong Grammar School in Australia.
