The Faster Payment System (FPS) service will be unavailable from 1am to 11am on this Sunday (Nov 14) due to planned system maintenance.
The maintenance will be carried out by the Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited, the operator of the FPS.
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority reminded members of the public that, in case of need, they may make advance arrangements for their payment activities.
It added that people can contact individual banks or stored value facility operators for more details regarding the FPS services that may be affected by the system maintenance.
