Two men and a woman were arrested near Fairview Park in Yuen Long after fleeing from a police check in a private car, where suspected drugs were seized.
At about 3.30pm, a traffic officer noticed a white private car crossed the double white lines at Tuen Mun Road towards Kowloon.
The car suddenly accelerated to escape when the officer tried to stop it for a check. The officer then starts the car chase and call for backup.
The white private car finally crashed at the roundabout near Fairview Park after being rammed by the Police Emergency Unit vehicle during the pursuit. The male driver, as well as two passengers were forced to get out of the car and arrested.
Officers searched the car and found suspected drugs, believing the three were trafficking drugs.
Both the passengers reported injuries, and one of the officers get cut on the hand by a shard of glass.
